Tony Maharrey, drummer for country artist Amber McCain, came by the studio to talk to us about his deep roots in the Memphis music scene and playing with other country music greats like Randy Houser. Most importantly, Tony discusses the upcoming benefit show for his wife Amber Maharrey, who has been fighting cancer after a recent diagnosis. The event is at Neil’s Music Room on January 29, and we encourage all of our listeners in the Memphis area to attend and help out Tony and Amber.
